The Mission of Texas Doghouse is to provide dogs with a fun, safe, clean and caring place to stay and play in a family environment.

We understand that leaving your fur-baby with those that you do not know can be hard. At Texas Doghouse, we want all of our clients to know that we treat your dog as if they were our own. When we hire our staff, we have one extremely important rule, they must have a passion for taking care of animals and must love dogs. Proud to be family owned and operated since September of 2011.
Tara joined our pack in 2018 & became Manager in 2021. She has grown up with dogs her entire life & has 3 furbabies; Brody, a Mini Schnoodle and former TDH foster that she rescued from CAMO Rescue. Zoey, a chihuahua/terrier mix she’s had since she was a few weeks old. Then Astro, a Boxer/Pit mix that she rescued from Conroe Animal Shelter. Her favorite thing about TDH is “the bond we have with each of the pups & seeing how excited they get when they arrive at the facility.” Her favorite breeds are Dobermans, Weimaraners, & Mastiffs because of how smart & loving they are. She has a passion for photography & loves taking pictures of all the dogs at TDH and hopes to one day have her own photography business.
Meredith joined our pack in March of 2022 as our Assistant Manager. She is our resident “crazy cat lady” and has 2 felines, Sydney & Winifred. She loves caring for dogs & has over 9 years of experience working professionally with them. Her favorite thing about TDH is making sure every pup is happy & healthy during their stay, whether they’re here for Daycamp or Boarding! Her favorite breeds are Great Pyrenees & Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She studied film/video at UT Arlington & hopes to be a screenwriter or editor one day (or a vet tech, she’s still deciding!).
Miranda joined our pack in 2020 & is one of our Supervisors. She has lived in Texas most of her life & hopes to one day have a career in Wildlife Rehabilitation! Though she has grown up with dogs her entire life, her favorite dog breed is the German Shepherd because of their fierce loyalty, & even has a Shepherd mix named Iphigenia (Nia), as well as her new Terrier Mix - Bear. She also has 6 cats & is our go-to cat whisperer whenever one wonders about the TDH property. Miranda’s favorite thing about Texas Doghouse is her love for each of the pups, they make her excited to come into work!
Baylie joined our team in 2022. She has a bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology w/ a specialty in herpetology, ornithology, & mammalogy and has a passion for all animals. She's our go to girl if a raccoon needs rescuing out of the dumpster or if a lizard made its way in somehow. She has worked with a variety of animals, but dogs are her passion.
Madison, or Maddie, joined our pack in June 2023. She is our Doodle lover & has an Irishdoodle named Weasley, after the character Ron Weasley from Harry Potter! She’s currently in school & hopes to one day become a nurse. Maddie’s favorite thing about Texas Doghouse is seeing the personalities of each pup & watching them blossom into their unique selves while at TDH. When not at TDH, she enjoys binge watching tv or listening to her favorite artists like Harry Styles & Taylor Swift!
Caitlyn joined our pack in June of 2023. She’s worked with dogs professionally for 4 years and “wouldn’t trade a second of it for any other job”. She has 2 Pomeranians named Birkin & Coco, as well as a Blue Heeler named Blaze, but her favorite dog breed is German Shorthaired Pointers! Her favorite thing about working at TDH is how you get to know & love each pup like they’re your own & seeing their different personalities. She’s played softball almost her entire life & received a full-ride scholarship to Blinn where she earned an associate degree in business management. She hopes to one day become a veterinary technician!
Trinity joined our pack in November of 2022. She has a passion for many things including animals, reading, nature, & gaming. She is currently attending school studying to become a Veterinarian & has previous experience working at another doggie daycamp facility caring for their pups! She loves working at TDH because of “how our team feels like a family, and not to mention the amazing pups that come to us!”. Her favorite dog breeds are Golden Retrievers & Australian Shepherds. Although she loves dogs, she just recently adopted a sweet kitten from the shelter named Freya!
Kaitlyn joined our pack in the summer of 2023. She has dreamed of working with animals her whole life, taking care of them & giving them all the love they deserve. She has a young Pyrenees/Blue Heeler mix of her own named Dixie, & her favorite dog breeds are Blue Heelers & Australian Shepherds! Her favorite thing about working for TDH is having different connections with each pup & seeing how excited they are to see you. Her favorite way to pass time is drawing, but hopes to one day work in a veterinary clinic because of her passion for animals!
Landon joined our team in the summer of 2022. He is currently attending the University of Houston and pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He's our go-to handyman/jack of all trades and keeps the place looking great!
